Wonderful trip this summer! I’d never been to Ireland and Scotland before, can you believe it! It’s so close to France but I never had the opportunity. Let me share with you a few photos, they might inspire you to go there for your next vacations.

Kylemore Abbey, Ireland.
First built as a castle in 1868, it became a Abbey for Benedictine nuns as well as a school in the 1920’s.

Beautiful house, sadly a roof badly repaired caused a lot of moisture damage on the walls and ceilings during covid. They finally got the funds to start all the repairs.
Giant's Causeway, Ireland.

Castle Dunvegan, Scotland.
Dunvegan Castle is one the greatest Hebridean castles and the only Highland fortress to have been continuously occupied by the same family for 800 years.

The great hall was decorated by Scottish painter William Hole. A processional frieze of Scottish worthies can be seen on the ground floor while a series of large murals illustrate events in Scottish history on the second floor.

One of the oldest fortified places in Europe. With a long rich history as a royal residence, military garrison, prison and fortress.
